The red wine Cavalli Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Tenuta degli Dei has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby with a fine garnet shimmer. Opens with abundant savoury notes on the nose of aniseed and thyme, juicy elderberry and some blueberry, also hints of fresh plums. On the palate lots of intense fruit, succulence followed by notes of elderberries, pomegranate, fine tobacco notes and well-integrated tannins.
