Deep dark ruby colour. Very compact and dense nose, aromas of liquorice, blackberry and elderberry, with some meaty aromas. Opens with plenty of fresh vivid fruit on the palate, then shows a lot of silky finely meshed tannins, builds up nicely, beautiful texture on the finish.
