The red wine Giorgio Primo Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 1999 from the winery Tenuta La Massa has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark garnet in colour. On the nose, lightly balsamic notes combine with sandalwood, vanilla, and blackberry. The palate is juicy, round and very balanced with finely meshed tannins that linger nicely, soft and supple, with some coconut notes on the very long finish.
