Tasting Notes

Tasting from 10.02.2012

Rich ruby with a slight garnet sheen; fine, fragrant nose, very accessible, comes with aromas of raspberry, some rum pot, a slight hint of licorice. Shows lots of juicy blackberry fruit on the palate, lots of cinnamon, grippy, densely woven tannins, builds well, salty, amazing freshness, a very pleasant surprise from this hot vintage.
