The red wine Assai Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Terra di Seta has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese
It has a bright ruby red colour. On the nose with a medium expression there are delicate bacon notes, as well as restrained red berry fruit, and citrus. On the palate it is radiant, with good fruit, warmth and heartiness, lovely resinous nuances, and grip and drive on the finish.
