The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Terra di Seta has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese
Bright, rich ruby red. On the nose fruity and rich, inviting, notes of ripe cherry and ripe wild berries, plus a fine scent of oak, light savouriness and in the echo fragrant strawberry jam. On the palate it shows with great sweet fruit, tight tannin, hearty, warm, comes back in the echo unfortunately clearly oaky.
