The red wine Barolo Riserva »Villero Un Tigre Allamente«, vintage 2013 from the winery Vietti has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser with 100 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Medium carmine garnet, ochre reflections, broad brightening on the rim. Delicate floral notes of roses, nuances of red forest berries and preserved cherries, fine minerality, some liquorice and blackberries in the background, opens up with air, extremely promising bouquet. Textured, silky, pleasant fruit expression, tight-knit, perfectly integrated tannins, red cherries in the finish, salty and persistent. Impressively balanced and of enormous length, simply a perfect wine. Combines depth and finesse in a convincing way.
