The red wine Barolo DOCG Rocche di Castiglione, vintage 2017 from the winery Vietti has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby red with a fine garnet rim. The nose is characterised by intense notes of rose petals, ripe plums, some goji berries and cinchona bark in the background. Full-bodied and hearty on the palate, quite brittle tannins on the finish, rich, dark fruit.
