Elegant bright ruby red with subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, notes of dried figs, raisins, dried rose petal, milk chocolate and plenty of oak. Very savoury on the palate with plenty of acidity and tannin, powerful but seems unbalanced overall and somewhat drying. One to put away in the cellar and forget about for a few years.
