Tasting Notes
Initially very reductive and closed in the glass, clears up with plenty of oxygen in notes of dark chocolate and elderberry syrup. Youthful freshness on the attack, powerful, powerful palate with pressure and steam, balancing acidity, comparatively discreet tannins, extract sweetness on the finish, chocolate and black berry fruit again in the palate aromas. Goes well with grilled steak. Should not be enjoyed too warm from a large glass. The wine will also benefit from a year of ageing.
