The red wine »Collection Imperial« Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Waldulmer Winzergenossenschaft has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Quite a strong aroma of ripe plum and cherry confit, wood savouriness, plus cherry brandy. Also shows the warm conditions of the year on the palate, full-bodied, opulent and savoury. Good balance, for friends of generous taste with some extract sweetness, drive and good length.
