Deep ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate ochre rim brightening. Black berry fruit, some tar, a hint of liquorice, with fine wood nuances in the background. Very powerful, compact, nuances of red fruit, ripe tannins, mineral-salty finish, good freshness, a full-bodied, tight-knit red wine with further certain ageing potential, must be decanted.
