The sekt »Decade« Riesling brut nature, vintage 2012 from the winery Wein- und Sektgut Bamberger has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
Disgorged in August 2023, the wine is very floral on the nose, with lavender, but also flint, iodine, flinty mineral tones, delicate yeasty notes from autolysis and hardly any tertiary undertones. The palate is supple, with a mild, creamy mousse, lively acidity and a subtle hint of sweetness on the finish.
