The sekt »Ultra« Pinot Brut Nature, vintage 2018 from the winery Wein- und Sektgut Barth has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
The aroma points in two directions: with lime flavours in a very fresh, "green" direction and with notes of red apple and liquorice in a mature direction. The palate is supple and sweetly extracted, the mousse with its dynamic nature gives a lot of freshness, the ripe acidity supports the broad and rather soft vintage type.
