The red wine »Gründerwein« trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weinbiet Manufaktur has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The nose is almost reminiscent of an Australian red: aromas of menthol and eucalyptus, cassis confit and black pepper. On the palate, the wine is supple, oak supported, caramel, then a good dose of grainy tannin takes hold, dense, powerful, original.
