Tasting Notes
Somewhat smoky on the nose, dark berry, nougat, candied orange peel, leaning to the side of spiciness. Full-bodied on the palate, with grainy ripe tannins and a noticeable chalky mineral tinge, dense and substantial, compact, it is still very youthful. It is a heavyweight, tight and rich with certain ageing potential.
