Tasting Notes
Still reductive on the nose, with notes of yeast, caraway and with the slate spice of the apothecary, peach and apricot forming in the background. On the palate it is exhibits a beautiful interplay of elements; mineral, juicy, spicy and precise. Shows the tension of the Kabinett class and the greatness of the site.
More about the tastingImmediately on the nose, it is clear what to expect: Fine reductive notes, savoury-slate nuances, no superficiality or anything yellow. On the palate, the same; Clüsserath-Wittmann's Kabinett is one of the best in the country. Piquant, unique, and very fresh. Magnificent!
