The white wine Hohen-Sülzen Pinot Blanc, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Battenfeld-Spanier has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Blanc from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Smoky new wood and strong yeasty-spicy aromas. Behind this, however, sweet floral notes also emerge. Supple attack, plump and soft in the middle of the palate, but also juicy with a fine thread of acidity, a delicate wine with elegance and good concentration. Pinot berry fruit emerges on the finish.
