Tasting Notes
Lots of new wood on the nose. Ripe, candied cherry fruit. The soft attack lasts only a short time and leaves the stage to a dense, taut structure: powerful tactile minerality and lively acidity lie beneath the extract, the finish is still compact and very youthful.
More about the tastingDense and deep on the nose, with wild berries, blackberry, plum, savouriness, ink and earthy notes. On the palate, good volume, powerful, multi-layered, dense extract, supporting acidity, firm pithy tannin structure and mineral tones. With juicy fruit, it is long and has great ageing potential.
