Tasting Notes
Day one: Spicy aroma, plum, blackberry, mulberry, sloe, a little mint, hint of pepper, behind it is just like dark chocolate, rich and dense. On the palate it shows with powerful, ripe tannins, fine acidity provides momentum, lots of herbal savouriness, mineral thread, good structure and length, balanced despite all the power. Day two: Lots of savouriness on the nose, red and black fruits plus pepper, oregano, mint, clove, tobacco, black chocolate, more opulent than yesterday. On the palate it shows with enormous savouriness, lots of mint, rich red and black fruit, polished tannins, lots of texture plus minerality, has opened up. Day three: Very savoury aroma, clove, mint, pepper, black cherry, black olive, most typical of the variety. On the palate it shows with polished tannins, lots of tension, now nicely open, dense, cherry, sloe, smoky, good length.
