Dark ruby-garnet color with violet highlights and a subtle leg. Black cherry fruit underpinned by delicate herbal notes; seems somewhat reserved; dark minerality; needs some air. Complex, tightly structured, with pronounced tannins; delicate sour cherry fruit and minerality; has a slightly drying finish; red berry nuances in the aftertaste; will benefit from further bottle aging.
