Restrained use of wood and yeasty notes give the impression of a still youthful Weißburgunder or should we say Pinot blanc? On the palate, the wine is pithy and concentrated, the acidity is striking, the phenolics integrated with attractive slightly green tones - very substantial overall, with a clear and tangible ageing potential.
