Deep dark ruby garnet in colour with purple reflections and a touch of edge brightening. Fine roasted aromas on the nose mix with some dark berry fruit, ripe cherries, caramel nuances, meadow herbs and floral nuances. Complex and juicy on the palate, with fine texture and salty, well integrated tannins. Blackberries to the fore on the mineral finish, which sticks well. A versatile wine with secure ageing potential.
