The sweet and dessert wine Traminer Eiswein, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Ceel has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Traminer from the region Rust in Austria.
Pale golden yellow, in colour with silver reflections. On the nose, an attractive floral bouquet of rose and jasmine, underpinned with white tropical fruits such as lychee and some blossom honey. The palate is juicy, with racy acidity that counteracts the residual sugar, with ripe apricot fruit, and a long, mineral-citrus finish, has potential for ageing.
