Tasting Notes
Wild and impetuously savoury on the nose, ethereal, menthol, valerian, peat, pepper, leather and redcurrant. Powerful tannins on the palate, powerful, dense, volume balanced by a striking mineral extract and very well integrated acidity. A fleshy burgundian style wine from slate soils, built for ageing, but already very enjoyable.
