The red wine Rüdesheim Drachenstein Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Chat Sauvage has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
It has a purple colour in the glass, and it is also much cooler and firmer on the nose than its brother from hell despite its higher alcohol content. There are aromas of dark, deep raspberry and blackberry fruit. It has an enormous fruit density on the palate, with bitter cherry, vivid tannins, and it is dark, and tightly meshed, although it is still closed.
