Smoked bacon, vanilla, toffee as well as apple rings, dried apricots and almonds with rather unobtrusive fruit on the nose. Spicy and tart on the palate with a slight ginger spiciness and subtle tannin, it is probably better suited to a few years of bottle ageing.
