Intense aromas of fine smoke and red fruits, savoury notes and and multi-layered sour cherry, sloe and rosehip fruit. On the palate there's a lot of drive and fullness from rich tannins, matched by an invigorating acidity. Red fruit to the fore, but above all there's a mineral savouriness on show. Dense and long, with certain ageing potential.
