Wood, yeast and balsamic-spicy aromas form an aroma that still seems closed, but hints at a development towards complexity. The palate opens with a supple impression typical of the vintage, then unfolds a dense mass of very fine phneols flanked by ripe acidity. Shows the richness of the vintage and yet remains focused and fresh.
