The white wine »S« Weissburgunder, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Dautel has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Württemberg in Germany.
The wine appears quite Burgundian on the nose with a subtle touch of oak. On the palate a great spectacle unfolds; juicy acidity, intense tactile minerality, with enough bite and tension for years and decades of bottle ageing. At the same time, the wine does not appear forced at all, the aromatic potential and richness keeping pace with the supporting structure.
