The red wine »Balthasar« Neuenahr Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Deutzerhof has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Very subtle wood, as well as chocolaty aromas, some herbs, bay leaf and almond, a "German" aroma. The palate proves to be very well extracted: sandy, fine-grained tannins lie in the right quantity on a smooth base. Everything is ready for the coming savouriness.
