The red wine »Balthasar« Neuenahr Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Deutzerhof has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
On the nose, still rather reserved, a little milk chocolate, cherry, cherry pit. On the palate, a dense structure, with fine-grained tannins, the extract at the core has an attractive astringency, and the firm but also refined acidity adds to the tension.
