The rosé »Saumon de l’Ahr« Mayschoss, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Deutzerhof has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Ahr in Germany.
Pastel salmon pink colour. The nose is still strongly yeasty, but also shows red berry fruit and peppery, slate spice tones. The palate has weight and extract, ripe acidity, texture and an almost red wine-like depth.
