Wild berries on the nose, with blackberry, black cherry and raspberry to the fore. On the palate the fresh acidity provides balance to the powerful body, along with some mellow tannins. There's some ripe notes of plum jam and soy sauce here too. A successful Swabian interpretation of Merlot!
