Evidence of large wooden barrel, leather and balsamic notes, very closed, some melon. Immediately vivid on the palate, full-bodied, woody, ripe, but with powerful core of acidity. Extract-laden, dense, intensely tactile and mineral with excellent balance. On the finish initially delicate, but opens up revealing Pinot Gris spiciness. Needs time.
