Initially closed on the nose, then slightly grapey, citrusy, with notes of damp asphalt, and finally opening up more and more with notes of spice, aniseed, liquorice. Pleasingly little wood, fine phenolics, fruit, but with roundness, fine acidity, then tactile minerality, a quite complete wine with a smooth background.
