The white wine Müller-Thurgau, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Dr. Heigel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Müller-Thurgau from the region Franconia in Germany.
Floral-spicy notes on the nose, ripe pear, dried apricot, pickled radish, some dashi and beeswax. Full-bodied and opulent on the palate with good structure and power, definitely with depth and minerality. A mature Müller-Thurgau that has not yet reached the end of its ageing potential.
