The white wine Stein Alto Adige DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Eichenstein has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright straw yellow, sparkling. Very fragrant, inviting on the nose, with a great potpourri of white roses, ripe citrus fruits, sea salt, a hint of pineapple and fresh mango, also reminiscent of apricots. Precise, clear on the palate, with an energetic finish, racy acidity and well-balanced fruit, playful, still young at the moment, can rest in the bottle for a few more months.
