This has a powerful but not excessive nose, with toasty aromas, along with pear and stone fruit. On the palate it is soft and supple, with ripe acidity, and the medium-bodied texture is infused with a fine minerality as well as good phenolics and salty notes. It displays a nice profile and has certain ageing potential.
