At first, the scent is reminiscent of freshly baked savoury bread with fennel seeds. Dried cherry scents assimilate without being overbearing. An additional soy sauce hint completes the Spätburgunder fragrance. A marked minerality and acidity on the palate, followed by a slightly tart tannin. Already enticingly accessible but also worth cellaring.
