Ripe cherry fruit and woody notes are joined by finely spiced slate notes, some eucalyptus, Marsala and also a fine ethereal note, old wooden barrel. A full-bodied Burgundy varietal with ripe acidity, underpinned by slate-like minerality, intense and also long, not a lightweight, a serious Burgundy from the Mosel.
