Tasting Notes
Citrus zest, balsamic notes and an aroma almost like fried polenta on the nose. In the mouth, the wine is very straightforward, with a juicy acidity, powerful phenolics and plenty of density. A great arc of tension rests on a mineral foundation and even two and a half years after the harvest, the wine still feels immensely young. Has certain ageing potential, for another 10 years or more.
More about the tastingRich yellow in colour. Smoke and vanilla on the nose, underlaid with fresh, bright fruit and citrus notes. There's a hint of spice in the background. On the palate lots of tension from taut acidity means it feels very fresh and invigorating, yet still extremely dense and with enormous ageing potential.
