The white wine Schlossberg Staufen Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Fritz Waßmer has been rated in 2019 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
Very elegant oak note, lots of piquancy already in the nose, with yellow, silky fruit. Higher acidity than the pinot blanc, stronger fruit emphasis, but there is also a lot of substance with little alcohol. It is a high quality wine to accompany classic cuisine.
