The white wine Sauvignon Blanc Réserve, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Fritz Waßmer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Baden in Germany.
The already developed aroma displays aromas of elderflower, green gooseberry, caramel and mint candy. The palate structure is wonderfully balanced, juiciness meets texture, the first notes of ripeness meet a still fresh texture. Ripe acidity underpins the powerful structure. A very complete Sauvignon that will reach its best point of maturity in the next two years.
