Tasting Notes
On the nose cooked red berry, red currant, plus a spicy animalistic touch. Opening on the palate creamy and supple, the midpalate is juicy and fruit-driven, the mellow tannins exude plenty of charm in tandem with the pronounced fruit. It is a very elegant Burgundian with a Hohenlohe flavour.
More about the tastingOak leaves and red berries are hinted at on the nose. Wonderfully tart but ripe fruit on the palate. The body is elegant, full of freshness, but tends towards alcoholic warmth at the end. However, it captures the elegant Pinot fruit well.
