Tasting Notes
Deep, dark ruby colour, black core, delicate brightening at the rim. Initially restrained, spices from new wood that still somewhat conceal the fruit, such as balsam, sweet berries, a hint of orange zest, picks up speed with more air. Juicy, tightly woven, black berries, very good complexity, fine tannins, pronounced in fruit finish, very good length, very promising, great certain ageing potential.
