Tasting Notes
Elderberry, nougat, blackberry and black cherry, subtle wood, also a very slight hint of an animal like barrel note. Powerful alcohol on the palate, but also endowed with a full dose of grainy tannins, the tannin quality is ripe and slightly rappish, giving this dense wine very good ageing potential. Noticeably mineral-tinged, the acidity gains presence on the palate before the wine finishes juicy and with vivid palate fruit.
