The red wine »Hommage à George« Spätburgunder, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Georg Müller Stiftung has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Spicy new wood on the nose, yellow cherry, cherry blossom, a clear floral impact. The palate begins supple, almost viscous, broad and full-bodied, the tannin is fine-grained and fresh, it has a very gentle and noble radiance and leads into a fruit-driven, ultimately texture finish. Everything is accompanied by a fine mineral tinge. Subtle!
