Tasting Notes
Dark ruby-garnet color, deep core, orange highlights, subtle ochre-tinged lightening at the rim. Ripe plum fruit underpinned by subtle oxidation, candied orange zest, a hint of nougat, a very open bouquet, with herbal notes of rosemary and oregano in the background. Powerful, juicy, sweet cherries, round tannins, a delicate acidity, subtle rancio spice on the finish, dark chocolate in the aftertaste—a full-bodied wine with length and its own distinct character.
