The red wine Muschelkalk Portugieser Holzfass trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Grober Feetz has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blauer Portugieser from the region Saale-Unstrut in Germany.
Plum and menthol, Vicks VapoRub, herbs, just a hint of wood. Slight fruitiness at the start, silky tannins, flowing round, lively acidity gives tension to the plump, supple late harvest body, the finish fruit is full, fresh and long-lasting. A very full-bodied, fruit-driven red.
